Operating instructions

  1. Your scooter batteries come with a sufficient charge for operating for approximately one to two hours we suggest driving the scooter for an hour or until the battery indicator shows one yellow and one red light. When the scooter is fully charged the battery indicator will be as shown.


     

  2. Never operate the scooter when there is only one red light showing on the indicator this will over discharge the batteries and possibly causing damage.

  3. Connect battery charger to scooter by attaching charging receptacle to charging port on left side of control head.


     

  4. Charge will show one yellow and one red light while charging, when scooter is fully charged the charger will show one red and one green light.

  5. Do not leave charger connected for more than twelve hours

  6. If charging indicator does not show one red, two yellow, and one green light after charger shows fully charged reconnect charger and charge scooter with the key in the on position until green light is illuminated.

  7. Under charging port there is a green button that is used to electronically disengage the electric braking system, if desired this button can be pressed and the scooter can be pushed freely.


     

  8. To manually disconnect electronic brake find lever located on motor at the rear of the scooter, to free wheel it should be in lowered position (if key is turned on with this lever in lowered position the status light will flash and the scooter will beep).

  9. To operate horn press either button on back of tiller head.


     

  10. To operate directional light (if equipped) operate rocker switch shown in picture.


     

  11. To increase or decrease the speed of scooter you can either adjust speed control knob as shown or pull the handle with varied pressure to adjust speed.


     

  12. To operate lights (head lights standard, rear lights if equipped) operate switch as shown in picture. The headlight will illuminate and the rear brake lights (if equipped) will remain illuminated while the scooter is in operation these will act as the tail lights at night.



     

  13. Basket can be removed easily by lifting off of bracket, no bolts are used.



     

  14. To move scooter forward or in reverse press or pull black lever located on handle (scooter can be operated by either left or right handle for one hand operation).



     

  15. To tilt tiller pull black lever as pictured so it is at a right angle to the tiller and position tiller to desired position.



     

  16. To slide seat forward or backward push down on orange lever on right side of seat and push or pull the seat to desired position.



     

  17. To tilt the seat into any of its ten positions pull the lever as shown, seat will recline fully by placing your back against backrest and pushing while pulling pulling lever.



     

  18. To adjust headrest height press spring loaded release button as shown and place headrest at desired height.



     

  19. To adjust suspension locate shock absorbers (two on the front, one on rear) and turn spring adjustment knob to adjust ride.



     

  20. To pivot seat pull seat pivot lever and pivot seat to any of the four preset positions.



     

  21. To remove seat pivot adjustment lever above and swivel seat approximately 15 degrees and pull up on seat to remove. 



     

  22. Adjust armrests by loosening armrest retaining knob and pulling out and placing in desired position retightening when done.

Scooter will operate on a full charge with 38amp/h batteries approximately fifteen miles, 45amp/h batteries will allow approximately twenty miles of travel.
(Range of scooter greatly depends on many factors, terrain, weight of rider etc)..

Batteries take about eight hours to fully charge.
